Forklift Truck Service Contracts
Preventative Maintenance
- This is a forklift truck maintenance contract with recommended periodic service intervals, aimed at preventing forktruck breakdowns.
- The scheduled servicing can be devised in line with the customer requirements, be morning or afternoon visits, specific days, weeks or within months to minimise disruption to your forklift truck use
- The pre-agreed service cost is inclusive of all travel time to site, all necessary service time, minor rectifications’ and any adjustments but exclude all oils/lubricants, service kits and sundries
- The inspection report lists the maintenance operations
- The daily checks/controls do not form part of this contract
- JST will draw up a parts and labour quotation for any extra work that is recommended following this inspection, in order to optimise the availability of your forklift truck and minimise the risk of damage and major repairs
Breakdown Response
Unfortunately even with planned maintenance there may be occasions where your equipment breaks down, either through mechanical failure, misuse ,abuse or accidental damage. JST pride themselves on rapid response to breakdowns.

The Full Forklift Service Contract (inc maintenance)
- A complete forklift service contract which covers all maintenance and repair work allowing you to focus on your core business
- JST agree with you a technical monthly fee to cover the forklift truck, for a set period, in line with the hourly usage, agreed service schedules and application which covers all parts, labour and the services of a technician.
- Daily checks and damage repairs following an incident or an accident are excluded. The contract can also include a tyre option

Are you compliant?
It is a legal requirement to undergo a Thorough Examination at least every 12 months, yet more frequent examinations are required for machinery operating in harsh environments, that are responsible for lifting people, or that use specialist equipment.
